Construction
Clear top with a surface chosen
for its good mousing performance and ability to provide
strong, bright colours. The mat is strongly welded along the
edge enclosing a vegetable oil and a glycerine gel. The
liquids are coloured using food or shampoo dyes.
Glitter can also be added to the liquids for a sparkling effect. There is always a small air bubble that behaves like a third liquid.
Print
Under-surface screen print
or offset litho print either above or below the liquid for a
more subtle effect.
Packaging
Bulk packed but can be
individually packed in white envelopes, which can be
personalised.

Recommendations
The beauty of the mat lies in the
ever-changing pattern created by the liquids. If printing
under the liquids, use light coloured liquids - it is easier
to see the printed design.
